"On behalf of the Quality of Work Life Committee of the MUHC Mental Health Mission, I would like to thank both of you for the generous donation of Dolomite.

We started a small gardening project at the Allan Memorial Institute last year, and Ms. Debbie Hall provided some Dolomite to get us going. The perennials we put in grew amazingly well, and continue to do well duriing Year #2. The geraniums that we brought inside over the winter also thrived, and provided abundant blooms and very brightly-coloured even during the darkest days of February!

I took some of this wondrous powder to my community garden, and one of my neighbours was using a well-known brand of commercial fertilizer at the same time that I was sprinkling Dolomite on my plot. Well, I was the one whose garden had *miraculous growth* ! Within a week, my tomato plants zoomed up in height, and were producing more fruit than I had believed possible! My neighbour's plants grew at a more leisurely pace, and did not produce as many tomatoes as mine did.

Next year's project is to continue the beautification and naturalization of our grounds, in partnership with other governmental and environmental resources, and the Dolomite will be one of the tools we will use to reach our objectives. We'd love you to come to see our garden in September, and will be in touch with you to set up a date after everyone's back from vacation. That way, you'll see what your product has helped us accomplish, and we'll have a chance to thank you in person!
